WELCOME, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS

Chris and I first met in August 2008 in a training class for Utah State Housing. I was sitting behind him and next thing we knew, we started talking. After a few dates, we decided we just wanted to be friends. We became the best of friends, and started dating in early 2009. I say early, because neither of us know when we really started dating, but we kept dating till May when Chris proposed on Utah State campus overlooking the Logan Utah Temple. We were married on July 14th in the Draper Utah Temple. Everything about that day was absolutely perfect! Thanks to everyone for all their help in making such a perfect day for me!

Now that we are married, it seems like life can't get much better, but it does, everyday! Being married to Chris has been such a blessing. He never fails to put a smile on my face, and I find myself laughing all the time.

This Christmas season we both have so much to be grateful for. We both have jobs we absolutely love! Chris works full time as the Aquatics Coordinator for Utah State and I'm still teaching preschool at Utah State's Children's House. We both come from amazing families who are so supportive of everything we do. We are so thankful for their examples and influences in our lives. Although our apartment is small, and sometimes "dungeon like" as Chris would say, we are so grateful to have a roof over our heads and our basic needs met. We are especially grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the hope that is found in the gospel. We are grateful to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and love serving in our callings (I work in the nursery, and Chris is the ward chorister). We are so blessed to live in this time, and so grateful for all of you!

Merry Christmas to all of you!
